Dunes Park Inc.

Project started in: 2007 Project type: Utility upgrades and bottomless sand filter Owner: Cherenzia Excavation Inc. Location: Westerly, RI Designer: Cherenzia & Associates Dunes Park Inc., is an association of owners located at Misquamicut Beach. The association upgraded the electrical, water, and sewer services to the existing mobile home sites. The project consisted of installing a 48,000-gallon and a 25,000-gallon septic tank system with discharge to an 8,700 square foot bottomless sand filter. Cherenzia Excavation obtained a discharge permit for site dewatering using in house engineering.

Stoneridge Retirement Phase 1,2,3

Project started in: 1999 Project type: Active adult and assisted living community Owner: Stoneridge Retirement Location: Stonington, CT Designer: CSD Inc. Project consisted of three phases of infrastructure for the development of an elderly care facility. Buildings are 5 stories tall. Project area was adjacent to an environmentally sensitive area owned by Avalonia Land Trust. Completion date was fast tracked.

Newbury Development

Project started in: 2003 Project type: Utilities and roadway construction Owner: Newbury N.E., LLC Location: Westerly, RI Designer: Cherenzia & Associates The Winnipaug Cottages is an adult community development. There are 60 units located on ___ acres of real estate. Cherenzia Excavation Inc. completed all underground utilities and roadways to the individual cottages. Including sewer pump station and processing all on site boulders into spec’ed gravel.

Crosswinds Residential Subdivision Phases 1 through 5

Project started in: 1995 Project type: Utilities installation and roadway construction Owner: Cherenzia Excavation Inc. Location: Groton Long Point, CT Designer: DiCesare Bentley Cherenzia Excavation Inc. purchased the project at phase 3, completed the remaining phases and sold the building lots.

Mystic Run Age-Restricted Housing
